4 Good Food is  building a better food system

Our food system and the way in which food is growing and distributed is complicated, and making good choices for your family can be difficult. We are changing that. By partnering with local farmers in Northern Ireland to raise the highest quality ingredients, by creating a distribution that delivers food at a better value, and by investing in things that matter most – our environment and our communities. This will be a long effort, but with 4 Good Food, we can build a better food system for all of our families.

Coming from a farming background myself (Andrew) where my family was heavily involved in the poultry industry (producing and manufacturing on a large scale) and going to one of the wells recognized agriculture colleges in the UK (Harper Adams) I understand a lot about the agri-food business. In today’s environment, people are becoming increasingly passionate about what they eat and where it comes from. Should you let these things concern you that’s a personal decision but in my opinion, you should care where your food comes from and how it’s produced.

In today’s environment, people are becoming increasingly passionate about what they eat and where it comes from. In our podcast, we will talk about how our food is produced, meeting farmers that actually produce the food that’s put on your table every day, also giving you all the pros & cons of what’s good for you to eat and what not to eat. We will also go into a lot of depth on the journey of food and how much hard work and love the farmer gives and yet we the consumer takes it for granted and don’t realize how much effort is put in for our daily produce every day.
